Term 4- Career Research Completion, Multimedia and Databases
Final Conclusions of Career Research
This was the second part of the Career Research project. This
assignment included picking the top two to three career choices, a chart and
graphs to show the percentage growth, years of education, and the income of
each. First I had to write a paragraph for each career explaining why I picked
them. Then I had to create charts in excel and then create graphs using that
information. Then I had to pick three different colleges for each career. I use
Excel and Word to complete the last steps of the project. I learn how to insert
a excel worksheet in a Microsoft Word document so that all the tabs are there.
The graphs that I created were done in extreme detail and there were very
organized. If I could improve something I would have spent more time on
researching more colleges.

Job Ad Glog
In this assignment, I had to create an ad off of glogster. In the
assignment we had to try and convince someone to want to join the career I
picked. You had to tell the person about the experiences need for this career,
the income, some information about the career, photos, and show two different
links that the people could look at to get more information. I learned a new
technology called glogster, a website that lets you create your own glogs to
show data. For my ad I picked Physician, which is my top career choice. Since I
picked Physician as my topic I tried to make the theme look medical. I think I
found the information about this career well. I explained the Career in full
detail and made it sound professional. If I could do something differently in my
ad, I would have used different pictures to show different bones. Also I would
have changed the layout to make it messier so it looked more realistic informational board.

Celebrity Database
I recently started Microsoft Access and this was the first assignment
that I did. The whole purpose of this activity was to be able to create an
address database for celebrities' management companies' addresses. I had to
create tables and import the data that we were giving into it that table. I
learned how to create a database, view it in different ways, and how easy it is
to import information. I think in this assignment I formatted the information
well. To improve my piece of work I would have made it more appealing to the
public instead of it being bland.
